Hi Everyone!
We're selling maroon and black nylon drawstring bags as a fundraiser for the Washington DC trip. Each one contains an original WESTFORD logo and has an interior zippered pocket. The rectangular bag has corded black straps that enable it to be worn as a mini backpack. Of course, it can also be carried by the drawstring. These bags are definitely useful for many purposes; we selected them thinking they'd be perfect for students to use as carry-ons, or even to tote belongings (water bottles, tissues, cameras, etc) around Washington DC. The beauty of these bags is that although they're well suited for the field trip, they can be used by males and females alike for for many general carrying needs. They can hold school
supplies, light overnight supplies, etc. They are available in one size (approximately 13"x17") and sell for only $15.00. Students and parents interested in purchasing one may send in a check made out to Stony Brook, or $15.00 in cash. They are sold before school and during lunch periods. BUY YOURS TODAY! IMPORTANT! IT'S MCAS SEASON! Please be sure your child has a good breakfast the morning of the test! The caf will be open and selling a light breakfast for those who would prefer this or who might not have had time for a decent breakfast.
It's also important that everyone arrive on time and come to school not stressed out and with a good attitude.
Early to bed would be another great rule to live by...
Remember, GRADE 7 has LONG COMP on Tuesday, March 23rd. Everyone else has ELA testing on Thursday and Friday, March 25th and 26th.
