PLEASE LOOK ON THE LEFT SIDE BAR FOR UPDATED NEWSLETTERS!

This year I will continue to make communication in French a natural, enjoyable and rewarding experience for all of my students. With the backward design in mind, in order to achieve a deeper understanding of the language, I will use a variety of lessons that will enable my students to learn communicative skills  through simple materials in visual contexts. These lessons will develop proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing and will be focused on differentiated instruction. Cultural connections will be constantly built into the various lesson components. Since language and culture are so intimately tied, everything we do in our class will help us understand the diversity and richness of the Francophone world. People who have studied two cultures have a binocular vision on life, vision that enables them to see in depth, and from a different perspective. This new perspective is a big gain for my students, since they will learn that there are several ways to analyze and utilize any situation in life. Good luck with your studies this year!
         Bonne chance!
