PEER MEDIATION . . .STUDENTS HELPING STUDENTS
Peer mediation has a 98% success rate. Peer mediation works because:
-It’s confidential
-Students can talk openly with other students
-Any agreement reached is one that has been created by the students themselves
Mediators do not judge, or decide who’s right or wrong. Their job is to help the students in conflict understand each other’s point of view and find a solution that works for all!
